Green Jobs

The shift to a low-carbon, clean, green economy has the potential to create large numbers of quality green-collar jobs for US workers, with skill demands that make them accessible to low-income people, as long as they receive effective and targeted training and supports. Green jobs related to energy efficiency, assisting manufactures to produce clean energy technologies, and developing more efficient waste disposal infrastructure can generate jobs for low income families.
